uControl 1.3.2 for Panther

Panther 対応版の uControl が出てはいないかしらと昨日の今日でむなしく「uControl Panther」でぐぐってみたら、きのうはなかったはずのものが。

Panther's Human Input Device architecture is substantially differentfrom 10.2, mainly due to a new mechanism for squelching reentrant UIcalls. This is the change that required such extensive modificationsto uControl.

However, there is an added benefit -- it appears that thedreaded bug that periodically caused the control key to get stuck "on"when swapping control and capslock on an ADB or laptop keyboard isgone!

これは朗報。

ただし、Unload Extensions を押すと、確実に OS がハングアップというか「電源キーを押してリブートして下さい」になるという、かなりヒヤヒヤもの。

Please note that in this version, unloading the extension will crashyour machine. You should uncheck 'load at startup' and reboot in orderto remove uControl-1.3.2.panther.

確実に Jaguar より動作が軽くなっているし、Caps - Ctrl 問題がそれなりにいい方向に向かえば、これはもう Panther マンセーということになる。
